The B&B Il Maestrale is very good for the price. It is near the train station and the city center. You don't need long to go to restaurants. Sara is very nice and the breakfast is typically Italian.

The check-in was around 5 pm (you need to inform them 20 minutes before arrival). I arrived around 6 pm and there was no one there. The girl arrived 30 minutes late and I finally checked in around 6:30 for a night that cost 40 euros (single room). The girl was very nice, kind, and smiling, although she lacked a bit of professionalism. (arrived late + sent me messages after I returned home to ask where I left the keys while I left them on the entrance door + asked me to inform her 20 minutes before returning at night etc). The room was Ok, big, clean, with air conditioning but no hot water. The location is good: close to the city center, easy to find, close to the airport. They just need to be more professional with clients and it will be a very very good place.

I highly recommend this accommodation. The owners are extremely kind. Moreover, the husband made a lot of effort by speaking French with us. The place is very clean and relaxing with a very beautiful view. Thanks again to them. We will return with great pleasure.

B&B Il Maestrale is a budget-friendly and essential option located near the center of Olbia, within walking distance. The rooms are very spacious and the girl in charge is very kind. However, there are some aspects that need improvement: the breakfast mainly consists of the same snacks and fruit juice every day, and the bathroom with a bathtub made it impossible to shower without flooding it. Sometimes the water even reached the hallway. Adding a curtain would solve this issue.

Very spacious room in a large apartment, bathroom outside the room but private, all very clean. Self-service breakfast but abundant. We were greeted by a very kind girl who also gave us advice on where to dine and information about the city. Payment in advance is required. The structure is central, very close to the port but unfortunately it is next to the train station and consequently all the noises are heard.

Definitely No across the board. Beyond the error of postponed booking to another date, which they did remedy, B&B Il Maestrale is located inside a building where outside adjacent to the entrance door, there were mini bins overflowing with diapers and various items emitting a terrible odor. But let's say it may not have been their responsibility. Small and all scratched elevator. To the right of the entrance door, inside a glass niche, a meter with external patched wires. The triple room, spacious, essential but with walls shaded with stains and definitely not very welcoming. The bathroom for exclusive use located on the other side of the apartment and delivered to us already open, therefore available for use by other guests as indicated by the owner already present. The do-it-yourself breakfast, with coffee capsules, packaged snacks, jams, and milk and fruit juice already opened (for how long?) in the fridge. The cost for one night, €70 and they did not even give us a receipt. For the record, we left knowing we had given them money, turning to another structure that knew how to welcome us with the characteristic Sardinian hospitality.

B&B Il Maestrale is located just a 5-minute drive from the port and a couple of minutes walk from the center: the location is strategic, even though the view is not the best (overlooks the rails of the nearby train station). The rooms are very spacious and some have en-suite bathrooms. Only one has the bathroom (for exclusive use) outside the room. This is an inconvenience both for those who have to use it and for the neighbors who hear the frequent opening/closing noises of the doors, since these are not soundproofed at all and do not filter out the noises coming from the corridor and the kitchen. The breakfast is just sufficient: a coffee machine with pods, milk to heat in the microwave, and a liter carton of fruit juice. All to be accompanied by very dry packaged croissants. During breakfast, there were also the remains of the previous breakfasts left on top of the fridge with ants already feasting, due to the absence of the manager. Regarding the manager, I would like to point out that even on this occasion (we had already stayed at the B&B once before) he arrived late (over half an hour) despite confirming the arrival time several weeks in advance.

Buona sera, la ringraziamo per aver commentato il suo soggiorno nel nostro B&B ed averne apprezzato alcune caratteristiche, utilizzeremo le sue critiche per migliorarci. Precisiamo che il nostro obbiettivo principale è di contenere il costo di soggiorno, mantenendo elevato il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Nello specifico però, desideriamo precisarle alcuni punti: il check-in viene fatto tra le 18 e le 20, previo preavviso telefonico almeno 20 minuti prima (non è infatti un hotel con portiere), il vostro è stato fatto fuori orario, esattamente alle 20:35 dopo la vostra chiamata delle 20:15. Il B&B non è un albergo, è una abitazione che accoglie degli ospiti, i bagni sono pertanto - come nella maggior parte delle abitazioni - esterni alle camere, spesso adiacenti, ciò detto i rumori eventuali dipendono sempre dalla delicatezza degli ospiti, non dalle porte e/o altro (mi è capitato in hotel a 5 stelle di essere disturbato dai rumori delle camere adiacenti). La colazione è "volutamente" appena sufficiente, come una casa privata normale, con latte, caffè, the, spremuta, merendine, marmellate, biscotti e fette biscottate, tutti prodotti preconfezionati di buona qualità (non si possono somministrarne di fatti in casa) proporzionati alla nostra politica di contenimento del prezzo. La colazione viene somministrata "self service" per dare ampia scelta all'ospite sull'orario, soprattutto quando deve partire presto, come oramai avviene anche nei migliori hotel, dipende sempre dall'ospite comunque lasciare in ordine e pulito per rispetto degli altri; non sempre avviene. Vera è, perché da noi riscontrata, la presenza di alcune formichine, con cui lottiamo da alcuni giorni cercandone la provenienza e provvedendo alla relativa disinfestazione. Sul parco ferroviario invece non possiamo fare nulla, sperando che gli ospiti apprezzino maggiormente l'Isola di Tavolara visibile sullo sfondo e la vicinanza al centro e porto.
